                                                                          Customer Policies

1. Estimates & Pricing
GG Home Repair Services provides written estimates based on the scope of work, site conditions, materials, labor, and specifications discussed with the customer. An estimate is based on the information available at the time it is prepared. Hidden conditions, structural issues, code requirements, or customer-requested changes may require additional work and a written change order.

2. Deposits & Progress Payments

Payments will be established in the written contract and payment schedule.

For California home-improvement projects, required payment restrictions and applicable California law will be followed. Progress payments will correspond to the work performed and applicable contract requirements.

3. Change Orders

Any change to the original scope of work must be approved in writing before the additional or changed work begins.

Change orders will identify:

  • The additional or reduced work

  • The price adjustment

  • Any effect on the project schedule

  • Any applicable changes to progress payments

  •

4. Materials

Materials specifically identified in the contract will be provided and installed according to the agreed scope.

Customer-selected materials must be available when needed for installation. Delays caused by unavailable, delayed, discontinued, damaged, or incorrect customer-selected materials may affect the project schedule.

5. Hidden or Unforeseen Conditions

Existing conditions that cannot reasonably be identified before work begins may require additional work.

Examples may include concealed water damage, structural damage, mold, outdated wiring or plumbing, damaged subflooring, code-related issues, or other conditions hidden behind walls, floors, ceilings, or existing finishes.

Additional work will be discussed with the customer and documented through a written change order when required.

6. Project Schedule & Delays

GG Home Repair Services will make reasonable efforts to maintain the agreed project schedule.

The completion date may be affected by material delays, inspections, permitting, weather, customer decisions, change orders, unavailable materials, concealed conditions, subcontractor availability, or circumstances outside the contractor's reasonable control.

7. Permits & Inspections

Permit responsibilities will be identified in the written contract.

When permits are required, work will be coordinated with the applicable jurisdiction and inspections as specified in the contract.

The customer agrees to provide reasonable access to the property during scheduled working hours.

The customer should notify GG Home Repair Services of pets, security systems, restricted areas, or other conditions that may affect access or safe completion of the work.

9. Protection & Cleanup

GG Home Repair Services will make reasonable efforts to protect existing areas affected by the work.

Construction debris and cleanup will be handled according to the scope of the contract. Specialized cleaning, hazardous-material removal, or work outside the agreed scope may require additional charges.
